Our feature fixture for this tip is the crunch tie in the Midlands as 3rd place Leicester host 4th place Liverpool
Leicester have stumbled recently but still remain within touching distance of the Premier League top spot. They are, however seven points off City who have a game in hand - so a win against the Reds is vital if their title hopes are to be kept alive. Maddison has continued to impress in recent showings, however there is no doubt that they miss the 34 year old Vardy when he doesn’t play.
The Anfiedl fortress has crumbled, and Liverpool are resigned to being top four contenders instead of title challengers this season. The 4-1 humbling at the hands of City completed a hattrick of home losses after the their nearly four year unbeaten record came to an end against Burnley. The Reds have won their last two away matches and will hope to see their new defensive signings and a return to midfield for Henderson and Fabinho.
Brendan Rogers has yet to beat his old club since returning to the Premier League as a manager of Liecester, but the miserable stats for the Foxes don’t end there. Leicester have conceded seven goals without reply against Liverpool in their last two matches and Klopp holds a 100% win record over Brendan Rogers. Liverpool are unbeaten in their last seven against the Foxes, having won six of those.
Liverpool have been poor recently, however they have won their last two away fixtures and have a great record against the Foxes. Moreover, Leicester have a poor record at home - having lost six games at the King Power this season.
