Nottingham Forest make the short trip to the King Power Stadium on Friday night to face an in-form Leicester City. The Foxes head coach, Steve Cooper, will no doubt be hoping to defeat his old employers under the lights.
After a rocky start to the campaign, one of the relegation favourites have shown some fight under Steve Cooper. The Foxes have won back-to-back matches for the first time since arriving back in the Premier League, defeating both Bournemouth and Southampton.
Their second win was far more dramatic than their first, having fallen 2-0 behind at St Mary's, before a 98th minute winner from Jordan Ayew saw Leicester steal all three points on the south coast.
That's now just one defeat in five for the Midlands club, which came against Arsenal in the final minutes at the Emirates. Leicester are gradually improving.
But while Leicester are beginning to grow into this season, Forest have been flying - in particular on the road. Liverpool have only lost one of their 12 matches under their new boss, and it was Nuno Santo's side that were responsible for that incredible 1-0 win at Anfield.
That wasn't a fluke, either. A 1-0 win against Southampton, followed by draws away to Chelsea and Brighton have shown how difficult Forest are to break down this season.
The addition of centre-back Nikola Milenkovic looks to be one of the signings of the season already, and his presence has made the Reds incredibly strong defensively.
The last time Forest travelled to the King Power, Steve Cooper was in the other dugout and a 4-0 defeat almost cost him his job there and then. The reverse fixture at the City Ground saw Forest get their revenge with a 2-0 victory, as the Reds stayed up and Leicester went down.
This will be the first meeting since that fixture back in January 2023, with both clubs having only faced each other five times in the last 11 years. Many will feel as though Leicester have turned a corner with their recent victories, but Forest's form this season has made them a potential surprise contender for a top half finish.
Forest's only defeat came in a narrow 1-0 loss at home to Fulham, where Santo decided to experiment with two strikers for the first time - which didn't work out. He was also without Morgan Gibbs-White on that occasion, who is injured for this tie, too.
However, the addition of Newcastle's Elliot Anderson is another impressive signing, who dominated the game against Crystal Palace on Monday night in the no.10 role. The England U21 international has been one of the most noticed players since his switch to the City Ground, and if he dictates the play on Friday evening, the game could fall in Forest's favour.
With Nottingham Forest proving to be an extremely difficult unit to break down, Leicester may become frustrated at home, and the visitors may leave with all three points.
Many tipped both of these teams to be flirting with relegation all season long, but Forest have shown everyone that they are now an established Premier League side looking to progress up the table, rather than looking over their shoulder.
Only Liverpool have conceded less than Santo's side after eight Premier League matches, as Forest are currently sitting in eighth spot alongside Spurs. Their ability to soak up pressure and use the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi, Anthony Elanga and Anderson to transition quickly has caught plenty of teams out.
A centre-back pairing of Murillo and Milenkovic is one of the best in the league, who bring a calming presence to Forest's back line, and Jamie Vardy may have little to no joy against them on Friday evening.
With that in mind, Nottingham Forest on the Asian Handicap 0.0 line at 4/5 with bet365 looks a cracking price considering their current form - especially on the road. Good luck to all that choose to follow.
