Two teams whose seasons have fizzled out at a rate of knots face off at Anfield. Liverpool's title chances have diminished in recent weeks, much like Tottenham's Champions League hopes.
Lacklusture Liverpool
Liverpool were in prime position to secure legendary manager Jurgen Klopp's second and final Premier League title, but a dire run of form has killed any chance they may have.
The Reds have won just one of their last five Premier League games, including a catastrophic 2-0 loss at same-city rivals Everton. They are also out of the Europa League after losing over two legs to Serie A side Atalanta.
It is Jurgen Klopp's penultimate home game in front of his adoring Anfield faithful, so he will ensure his side are well up for this game.
Teetering Tottenham
For so long, Tottenham were challenging Aston Villa for the final Champions League spot. However, three catastrophic losses in a row have meant that Tottenham have to now settle for fifth place in Ange Postecoglu's first season. It was a position they would have settled for before the season started, but the recent collapse will have angered the Aussie.
Defensively, they have struggled, conceding 54 goals. They've also failed to keep a clean sheet in their last seven matches, a huge worry for Spurs when facing a potent Liverpool attack.

The reverse fixture saw Spurs win a controversial affair 2-1, with Luiz Diaz having a goal disallowed for offside - a mistake PGMOL have since come out and apologised for.
The sides have met 182 times in history, with Liverpool winning 89 times compared to Tottenham's 49.
We should be in for an entertaining affair between two attacking sides at Anfield. Tottenham have seen over 2.5 goals in a league-high 27/34, while it has landed in 23/35 for Liverpool.
