Luton welcome Chelsea to Kenilworth road for the early kick off on Saturday and I think this game is going to be a little closer than what the bookies give it credit for. The home team have opened up at 6/1 whilst Chelsea have opened up at a very short price of 2/5 to take 3 points back to Stamford Bridge. The draw has been priced up at 3/1 and I have a strong suggestion for this fixture but let's take a look at both teams first.
Luton may be in the relegation zone currently, but they are playing decent enough football for me to believe they can get themselves out of trouble and they come into this game after winning their last two games in pretty decent style. The confidence will definitely play into their strengths this week and if they take the lead here they could be pretty tough to peg back. I think they are dangerous to underestimate in their current form.
Chelsea to me look like a team that are struggling to find any sort of consistency and that would worry me this week at such a short price. They did get a result at home against Crystal Palace on their last outing but only just managed to hold on and their team are going to need to be on it this week to beat Luton away who are no mugs on a going day
The head to heads between Luton and Chelsea are pretty one sided but If you look at current form, you could hardly be full of confidence for Chelsea here. Luton look like a team thriving and they could continue their good run with a win at home here.
Luton seem to be thriving at the minute and come into this game looking for three wins on the spin against a Chelsea team who are struggling for consistency. This game may not be as straightforward as what the bookies are making this out to be.
Luton are in great form coming into this fixture and they may be able to capitalise on a Chelsea team struggling to find consistency this season. I think if Luton score first they will be hard to peg back and I will be using the outright market to make my selection.
With Chelsea being very hit and miss this year I think it could be worth siding with Luton here who at 6/1 look a decent bet. They are coming into this game in great form and I think they could be tough to beat here especially if they take the lead in the first half. Chelsea are finding results but they look far from convincing and I want to take them on at ⅖. The bet here is Luton at 6/1 who can make it 3 wins from their last 3 premier league games.
