Manchester City need a win to secure an unprecedented fourth straight Premier League title. They are heavy favourites at home to an out-of-sorts West Ham side, with David Moyes managing the East London side for the final time.
While a quarter-final defeat to Real Madrid means Manchester City can't repeat last season's treble-winning heroics, the domestic double is still on, with only West Ham and Manchester United in the Citizen's way.
City have been in relentless form, winning eight in a row, as well as drawing to Arsenal and Liverpool before this. Pep Guardiola's side have also been defensively resolute, conceding just once in their last five league games.
This new-found defensive stability and the return of creative maestro Kevin De Bruyne makes City heavy favourites for another league title.
A few weeks back, it was announced David Moyes would be departing the club, with Spaniard Julien Lopetegui set to take the reigns at the London Stadium. It will be a sad day saying goodbye to the man who brought the Hammers European success, but a stagnating season suggests a change was needed.
West Ham have 9th-place secured. They are five points off 8th-place Manchester United and four points clear of 10th-place Brighton, so the Irons can enjoy Moyes final day with no worry of what is going on elsewhere.
A season that potentially promised European qualification has petered out after a disappointing 2024. West Ham have won just four times in 18 games since the turn of the year, so have to settle for another mid-table finish.

This is a fixture that Manchester City have dominated over the years. The 1-3 win at the London Stadium in September made it three straight wins for City, extending their league unbeaten run to 19 against the Hammers. In their 120 meetings in history, Manchester City have won 63, with West Ham emerging victorious in 38.
Manchester City are priced at an eyewatering 1.07 to win this game, so there is obviously no point backing at this price. Due to this, the handicaps are also massively inflated, so we will look at alternate markets.
Josko Gvardiol has been a mainstay on the left side of Manchester City defence in recent weeks.
He opened the scoring in Manchester City’s 0-2 win over Nottingham Forest in April getting on the end of Kevin De Bruyne’s flat front post corner. It was his second goal in three Premier League games, with Gvardiol scoring a fine edge-of-the-area goal in the 5-1 drubbing of Luton, akin to his goal away at Real Madrid in the Champions League.
He then went close against Wolves, before scoring a brace in the 0-4 win at Fulham.
His recent goalscoring exploits are indicative of the new-found freedom he has been afforded on the left side. Gvardiol has had at least one shot in 15 of his last 19 Premier League games, shooting at least twice in eight of these.
West Ham have struggled defensively this season, conceding 71 times. In a match that City should dominate from the start, don't be surprised to see the Croat on the scoresheet again.
