NFL Week 8 Betting Tips Preview

There is only team left in the NFL with a 100% record this season, and that is the Minnesota Vikings. They have won all of their six matches and currently sit in first place in the NFC North.

Just because they are undefeated, this does not mean they are the best team in the NFL. Some of their wins have been narrow and not really entertaining, but they have not lost and that is all that matters at this stage.

On the other side of the coin, there is just one team in the NFL that has yet to win a game as well. That team is the LA Chargers. They are 0-6, and it already looks like their play-offs dream is over.

Will there be any upsets this week, or will the results go to form? We'll have to wait and see.

There are just 28 teams playing in week 8 with Houston Texans, New Orleans Saints, New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers on their bye week. It would still be impossible to write previews and distribute NFL betting tips on every single game. So, the remainder of this page will feature previews for some of the games I think will steal the show in week 8

Carolina Panthers @ Green Bay Packers - Friday 01:15 GMT

The Packers and the Panthers are coming off a short week in which they both picked up defeats. Green Bay narrowly lost 20-17 to NFC North rivals the Detroit Lions, while the Panthers were thumped 43-13 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Packers have a 4-3 record and are yet to have their bye week, while the Panthers are 3-3 and have already had their week off. I am going for a Green Bay win in this one, just because I think their defence will rush through Carolina's O-Line and haunt Bryce Young all night long.

Young is a good QB, but they have a number of starters on that O-Line missing and I am not sure they can prevent the Green Bay pash rush. Young might be in for a tough night. On the other side of the coin, Green Bay QB Jordan Love has thrown over 250 yards in each of his last three NFL matches.

If he finds his groove early on, then this could end up being a comfortable win for the Packers. Christian Watson will be looking to find as much as possible and he will be trusting Love to find him open.

I am going with the Packers to win with Love throwing over 250 yards again, while I am expecting Young to be picked off at least twice. When it comes to scoring points, I am backing Watson to score a TD at any time for the Packers, with Chuba Hubbard finding the End Zone for the Panthers in what might be a rare score for the visitors.
