As we reach November, the NFL season is starting to take shape.
In the AFC, the Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Denver Broncos are the individual Division leaders and everyone is out to beat those four.
Minnesota Vikings are the top of NFC North with a record of 6-1, while the Chicago Bears are hot on their tail. Other teams in the mix in the NFC include the New York Giants, Carolina Panthers and San Francisco 49ers.
Our NFL tipster Dave Kuzio has written an NFL season betting preview as well as an NFL Acca for week 9. Check them both out.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are currently top of the AFC South with a 5-2 record, and they take on a struggling Baltimore Ravens side who will be without star quarterback Lamar Jackson through to injury.
Jackson left the field during their 36-10 loss against the Buffalo Bills with a thumb injury that requires surgery and has been placed on injured reserve, virtually ending his season and Baltimore's chances of making the play-offs.
The Ravens have a record of 4-4, and although it is not terrible, they are behind the Browns, Bengals and Steelers, making it almost impossible for them to reach the play-offs.
I do not like writing teams off because of injuries. Teams have a 53-man squad for these situations, but Jackson is not just an ordinary player. He makes the Ravens tick, and without him it will be an uphill task from the first minute.
The Jags look more settled this season and Trevor Lawrence with 17 touchdown passes and 1690 passing yards. The only chance the Ravens have is to rush the Jags O-Line and get at Lawrence before he can get the pass off. He was been sacked 13 times and picked off four times, so he still has his weaknesses.
Having an accomplished QB is key and Lawrence is capable of dictating the play. Joe Fafnano is expected to replace Jackson for Baltimore, and the Jags defence will be on him from the first snap.
I am backing the Jags to record their sixth win of the season with Lawrence throwing 2+ TDS passes and over 250 passing yards. Unfortunately, I think Fagnano will struggle and will be intercepted 2+ times.
The first touchdown of each game can be very crucial - just like a goal in football or a try in rugby league. Below are a selection of players we feel have a good chance of scoring the opening TD of the game, all first touchdown betting odds are with BetMGM.
Sky Sports is the main broadcaster for NFL in the UK and they show one game on Thursday evening, three games on Sunday and one on Monday Night Football. They also have the Redzone show that covers every game so you do not miss a second of the scoring action.
Sky Sports like to pick their favourites to show live, so if you support an unpopular team, you might not feature on Sky very often in the season. The good news is that Bet365 will stream every single game live on their website or betting app.
You just need to have a funded account or have placed a bet 24 hours prior to be available. Bet365 is the home of NFL live streaming and you do not have to miss a minute of your teams season.
