Well, the Super League season is almost over. On Saturday evening, we will find out who the two participants of the Super League Grand Final on October 3 will be.
The first semi-final will take place at Headingley on Friday evening with second taking on third place with a spot at Old Trafford for grabs. Leeds Rhinos are the hosts as they entertain Warrington Wolves. League Leaders Shield Winners Wigan Warriors are at home on Saturday against the team that finish fourth on the ladder - Wakefield Trinity.
Warrington and Wakefield both had to play eliminators last weekend with both picking up wins against Hull KR and Leigh Leopards respectively. Time will tell whether having a week off or being battle prepared is the better option.

Leeds Rhinos vs Warrington Wolves - Friday, September 25 - 20:00 BST
This should be a classic encounter, and so it should be at this stage of the season. Leeds Rhinos have been brilliant for the large parts of the season, but they fell away in the last few weeks as they ended up in second after looking like they had sewn up the League Leaders Shield. Warrington have massively gone under the radar in 2026. They have been picking up results without being outstanding, and they have not gone away. Earlier in the season, a large majority of Leeds fans were quite vocal on that their team had not picked up many injuries and they were destined to win the Grand Final. Well, that has come back to bite them on the backside as they will be without star man Lachie Miller with a torn hamstring, while Jack Bird and Ash Handley are also missing as well. The return of George Williams in the last month for the Wolves has been a God send. The Wolves have their leader back and he is definitely steering the ship. By rights, Leeds probably deserve to reach the Grand Final due to their form over the course of the campaign, but that counts for nothing now. They need to find form again and fast. Backing the underdog and team away from home is a big risk, but I like the look of the Wolves. A month ago, I was stood on the Terraces at Headingley watching Wigan tear Leeds apart. I said at the time that I can see Warrington coming here and winning, so I am sticking with it. I am backing the Wolves to win by 6-10 points and go in search of their first ever Grand Final success. Matty Ashton is a try machine and he deserves to be going to the World Cup next month alongside his team-mate Williams - who is expected to be the England captain. I am backing them both to score, as well as Leeds stand-off Brodie Croft who could be playing his final game for the club before moving to Warrington in 2027.
