We reach the penultimate round of the regular Super League season this weekend with the top two battling it out in an attempt to move one step closer to clinching the League Leaders Shield.
Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors lead the way with an identical record of 20 wins and five defeats, although the Rhinos have a far superior points difference. They clash on Saturday night at Headingley with the winner all but certain to finish top, seeing as they both end their season next weekend against teams with nothing to play for.
Our rugby league expert and published author David Kuzio has been ill this week, so he is late to the party with his predictions, He will just have a six team acca this week after missing the Bradford Bulls versus Castleford Tigers match.
See if you agree or disagree with his Super League betting predictions. You can also check out his individual previews and anytime try scorer predictions.
Before we get to the big game on Saturday between the Rhinos and the Warriors, we have three games taking place on Friday evening that could have a major say in the make up of the play-offs.
Defending champions Hull KR are not yet guaranteed a play-off spot, but victory over Huddersfield Giants on Friday will put them a step closer. They are missing some key personnel with Tevita Pangai Jr and Mikey Lewis suspended, but they should have enough against Huddersfield despite their recent improvement.
The biggest game on Friday sees fifth ranked Leigh Leopards play host to seventh placed St Helens. Victory for Saints - along with a win for Hull KR - will see all three teams fighting for two play-off places next weekend. Defeat for St Helens will end their hopes of reaching the play-offs. They have never failed to reach the play-offs in the history of Super League. Unfortunately for them, I am backing this to be the end of their campaign.
The third game on Friday is just for pride. It is the earlier kick-off of 6pm with Toulouse taking on Hull FC. The French side will be looking for their 10th win of the season on their return to the top flight. Hull have some quality players and are building for the future, so i am going for an away win that would see them win in France for the second time in three weeks.
The game we all cannot wait to see takes place at Headingley on Saturday at 8pm. Basically, the winner of this game will go two points clear at the top with one game remaining. The Rhinos play Hull FC next week with Wigan hosting Catalans. It is safe to say that the winner on Saturday will be finishing top. I have a strong feeling Wigan will edge this. The Warriors comfortably beat Leeds earlier this season, and although the Rhinos have improved - so have Wigan. The return of Junior Nsemba is massive for the Warriors, and I am backing them to win.
The other two games sees me backing Warrington Wolves beating Wakefield Trinity despite not winning at the DIY Kitchens Stadium since 2019, while Catalans Dragons should be too strong for York Knights in their final home game of the season.
Here is a list of players that are capable of scoring the first try in their matches this weekend. Remember, if your selected player scores first and scores a second later on, you will get double the odds.
Sky Sports is the main broadcaster for Super League and they promise to show every single game live each week. They will broadcast a main game on their TV channels, but if a game kicks off at the same time on the same day then it will be streamed on their Sky Sports + red button channel.
All seven games will be shown by Sky Sports in some capacity over the weekend. You can watch Super League on Sky Sports or Sky Sports + this weekend and stream it through the Sky Go app or with a NOW TV pass if you do not have a Sky subscription.

There has been reports that Betfred will be ending their partnership with Super League, but for now they are the principal sponsor of Super League, so it makes sense that they are running a couple of special offers every week.
Below is the Betfred offers that will go hand in hand with Super League this season. These will obviously change each week, but it is a good starting point when it comes to Super League betting sites.
Leeds Rhinos are currently top of the Super League ladder on points difference, with Wigan Warriors breathing heavily down their neck. Can they keep Wigan at bay and stay top of the ladder before moving on to Old Trafford to win the Grand Final? Betfred has them at 11/8 to win the Super League Grand Final for a ninth time.
