On Sunday, Sheffield United will welcome West Ham to Bramall Lane and they could really do with picking up some points soon. Sheffield United are currently bottom of the table with only 9 points and it is going to take a miracle to get them out of the relegation zone and back into safety.
They are 12/5 to win at home whilst West Ham are 11/10 to take all three points here. It should be a good game and I have some betting suggestions for you to take a look at.
Sheffield United have it all to do if they are to remain in the Premier League next season and West Ham are going to be hard to beat this weekend. So far this season Sheffield United have only picked up 9 points and they are 8 points from safety so it’s a huge task and I think they are going to struggle again here. They have a decent squad but they have lacked creativity and this is ultimately where they are struggling to score. They have scored just 15 goals in 20 games and they are up against it here.
West Ham are currently 6 points behind fifth spot Spurs and it’s a very important game for the Hammers this week. They may be playing bottom of the table Sheffield United, but they will need to remain switched on to ensure they get the job done this week. They have a game in hand on Spurs up in fifth too so the importance of a West Ham this week is crucial.
West Ham have dominated the head to heads between these two teams and Sheffield United again face a big task in this week’s fixture. If you are going on previous meetings between the two teams, West Ham will take the beating once again.
Sheffield United do at times play some decent football but this is seemingly for very small periods of the games and it is hard to see them getting the better of West Ham this week. West Ham are chasing European football this season and I think they will take some stopping this week. They know how important this game is for their chances this season and will be ready to start this game fast.
This fixture is a big game for booths sides, but for very different reasons and I can only really see this going one way. West Ham are in good form whilst Sheffield United are just looking like a team short of quality to compete and they are up against it here. I am going to use the outright market to make my prediction here.
I really wanted to try and make a case for Sheffield United this week but they just don't seem to have the fire power to cause any real damage to their opponents. They do have their moments but they aren’t capitalising on them and they are very vulnerable in defence at the same time. West Ham are chasing down fifth spot and playing some good attacking football.
They have plenty of quality in the side and have plenty of creative qualities up front to think they are too strong for Sheffield United. I think the 11/10 outright win for the Hammers is a decent price here. Yes it is short but I thought West Ham would be odds on to win here. I think they are good value for their short price.
