After several years of falling behind other nations due to the end of Spain's golden generation, a new one is well on its way as Spain look to another title to their collection.
With six wins from six, Spain deservedly have a place in the final. With wins against Croatia, Italy, Germany and France, it has been an extremely difficult route to Berlin, but one that they have embraced - and they've looked to enjoy themselves along the way.
A mix of youth combined with experience, this squad looks capable of going all the way, and just have one more match to conquer in order to achieve that.
Gareth Southgate has once again guided England to another major final - and the first outside of England. A less than convincing team effort across the group stage left a lot to be desired, but their dramatic late victory over Netherlands restored optimism and hope that this might just be their time.
However, Spain are a different animal to those who England have beaten so far, and Southgate will need to pull off another masterclass if he is to go one better than the last Euros.
It's hard to not be impressed by Spain's performances in each and every game this Euros. As mentioned above, they've conquered some of the best nations at this tournament, and it'll be a huge disappointment if they fail at the final hurdle.
Spain didn't concede a goal in the group stage, but errors crept into their defensive line throughout the knockout stage, and England will be looking to exploit that. However, at the other end of the pitch they have been magnificent.
Barcelona's Lamine Yamal has written his own headlines, but Dani Olmo, Fabian Ruiz and Nico Williams have all been wonderful to watch as they've ripped teams apart.
England have slowly gone through the gears in this tournament but will need to be in fifth if they are to be the first to beat Spain in this competition. The Three Lions have only conceded four goals all tournament, proving difficult to break down quite as easily as other nations may have expected to.
England have stepped up in key moments. Jude Bellingham's sensational bicycle kick saved them about Slovakia, while Ollie Watkins moment of magic against the Dutch will worry Spain. How Southgate will be desperate for another big moment on Sunday.
Spain vs England has all the ingredients to be a spectacle on Sunday evening. Spain have been consistently brilliant, whereas England have grown into the tournament. Are they peaking at just the right time?
At the start of the tournament, I would have backed England to beat Spain at any point in the competition. However, the favourites to lift the trophy have more than justified their price, while Southgate's side still have plenty to prove.
Spain's quality in the heart of midfield and ability to punish teams will concern England. The Three Lions have shown signs of weakness and an inability to dominate the game in all knockout matches to date, and that could see them punished come 90 minutes.
The Euros has been full of ups and downs and once again England have made it to the final - even if some (including me) had written them off at various stages.
However, this is their greatest test to date, and it feels like a step too far for Southgate's Lions. Spain are 6/4 to win with bet365 inside 90 minutes, which looks to be a huge price considering their performances so far. This looks to be a fun watch for the neutral, but Spain look most likely to lift the trophy.
