The FA Cup fourth round is full of intriguing fixtures to get fans excited. Whether it's a matchup for a potential giant-killing or an all-Premier League clash like the one we are previewing today. This betting tip is focusing on Tottenham Hotspur against Brighton and Hove Albion at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. 

Tottenham Hotspur are a transformed team under Antonio Conte. Since the Italian’s arrival, Spurs have climbed from midtable in the Premier League to the European spots. That form has translated to the FA Cup. They beat Morecambe 3-1 the round prior, and they could be a dark horse to lift the trophy.

The Lilywhites also got busy in the transfer market. Conte brought in both Dejan Kulesevski and Rodrigo Bentancur from Juventus on deadline day, and both of these players could make their debut against Brighton - Bentancur is less likely due to playing in Uruguay’s World Cup Qualifiers.

Brighton are the surprise package of the 2021/22 season. Graham Potter’s side began the campaign in the top four, and despite tailing off, they remain a tough team to beat. They lead the league for draws (12) and they hold the fourth lowest loss count (4), so Spurs will have to be clinical to beat the Seagulls in 90 minutes.

Unlike Tottenham, Brighton won’t have any new players to debut in Saturday’s fixture. They did sign Deniz Undav and Kacper Kozlowski, but they have returned to their current club’s on loan. However, they will be without Dan Burn who moved to Newcastle on deadline day.

There has been a trend when these two sides meet in recent years. If the game is played at the Amex, Brighton wins the fixture. They have won the last two games at home against Spurs, without the London side scoring a goal.

Whereas if the game is at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, or White Hart Lane previously, Tottenham are the team to come out on top. They haven’t lost to Brighton at home since 1981, winning the previous three games by a single goal.
