The Premier League continues this weekend before the international break next weekend. These fixtures include the crucial matchup between both Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. 

Tottenham’s European chances were dealt a huge blow last weekend. Antonio Conte’s side fought valiantly at Old Trafford, ultimately falling to a defeat due to the magic of Cristiano Ronaldo. After falling off in the new year, West Ham United have returned to form in recent weeks. The Hammers have lost once in the last five - a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool - helping their chances of European football.

A win for West Ham on Sunday, and David Moyes’ side can create a six-point gap ahead of their opponents. They’ll have to pick up this victory without a few key players. Top scorer Jarrod Bowen will be absent with a calf injury.

This all-London game never shies away from entertainment. In the last six meetings between the two sides, they’ve totalled 20 goals between them - including the 3-3 thriller during the pandemic era.

Whilst Tottenham has the edge historically, they haven’t fared well against their London counterparts in recent years. They are three-straight without victory against West Ham in the Premier League, but they did manage to better the Hammers in their League cup meeting in December.
