Tottenham play host to Nottingham Forest this Sunday evening and I think this could be a closer game than what the odds suggest. Tottenham are 2/5 to win at home whilst Nottingham Forest are 11/2 on their visit away, but both teams play similar football and I think they should be a little closer together in the market. Tottenham are 5th in the League whilst Nottingham Forest are down in 17th but they really aren’t to be underestimated and this should be a cracking game to finish the weekend. I have a suggestion for this game but we’re take a look at both teams first.

Tottenham have been playing pretty good football all season and this is a very important fixture for them with a couple of games in hand against a few teams around them in the table. They are desperate to finish in the Top 4 to get a Champions League spot and it could be crucial that they take all three points against Nottingham Forest. I do think they will be very hard to beat but Nottingham Forest do play the sort of football that can cause them problems and the home side will need to be in top form to take all three points here.

Nottingham Forest may be down in 17th but they are playing some nice football in patches and are starting to hit form at an important time of the season. They have drawn two in a row before beating Fulham 3-1 at home in their latest game and they will come into this weekend full of confidence. It will be required though as they need to try and get clear of the relegation zone. I think in a period where Nottingham Forest are starting to play well, that they will cause Tottenham plenty of problems this weekend.

Tottenham have won 4 of the last 5 fixtures against Nottingham Forest in all competitions with Forest winning the other one and that isn’t too much of a surprise. As mentioned though Nottingham Forest are playing better football at the moment and if they can bring their recent form into this game then they could give this a really good go.

This will be a fantastic game to finish off the wee and I expect to see goals from both sides. The question is, can Nottingham Forest stop Tottenham outsourcing them with the pressure they put on. I actually think they can if they start fast and we could be in for a cracker here.

After looking at both sides' credentials I am going to use the correct score market to make my betting suggestion for this week. I think both teams will have a good chance of getting on the scoreboard and the bookies are offering some pretty decent value for this game too. I also think that the 2/5 on offer for Tottenham is too short this week so I’m happy to take them on to a degree.

This is a fascinating fixture to finish off the week and Tottenham are going to be very popular in punters accumulators too but I am willing to take a chance that Nottingham Forest can take something out of this game. They have been playing very good football and if they start fast, I think this will be able to cause Tottenham some serious problems.

They like to attack and they play the ball well in midfield too and this for me is where they can really put the pressure on Tottenham going forward. I can certainly see both teams scoring more than one and I think a 2-2 draw is the way to go for this game at a big price of 14/1. I am more than happy with those odds and think this will be a really good game to tune in to.
