West Ham play hosts to Brighton on Tuesday evening and both teams are coming into this fixture off the back of very impressive wins. West Ham are slight favourites in the betting at 7/5 with the draw being 5/2.
The visitors Brighton have opened up at 8/5 to take all three points here and we can expect a very good match for the only game of the day. I have some betting suggestions but let's take a look at both sides first.
West Ham are starting to find their form again and come into this fixture off the back of beating Arsenal 2-0 away so should feel full of confidence. I really like the way they grind out results if need be and I think they have a great chance here. They have become much better in defence and seem to have a decent set of forwards too who are taking the chances when they get them. They will be a tough team to crack this week.
Brighton come into this game off the back of a good win at home to Spurs and this will set them up nicely for this fixture The only thing Brighton are struggling with currently is consistency and they will need to be on form to beat West Ham this week.
West Ham and Brighton have a mixed bag of results when it comes to the head to heads and to be honest they are two very closely matched teams. I think it would be a mistake to use the head to heads as a guide as both outfits look to be much improved and this is going to be a cracking fixture.
West Ham and Brighton both have hopes of European football and the three points here will be huge for either team. I would be surprised if both teams didn't score and believe that the two teams could just cancel themselves out here.
West Ham and Brighton will both fancy their chances this week but it really will depend on who is willing to risk it all for the 3 points. I think this is going to be a good match and I am using the outright market to make my suggestion here.
West Ham and Brighton are two very smart outfits and have got themselves in contention for European football but who is going to take the honours here? I actually think both teams will play out a draw here but in a low scoring fixture.
I have a feeling that whichever team scores first will then just sit back and try hold on to the three points but this could just open up the game for the leaders to be hit on a counter attack. I think both teams have a similar plan with their set up here and the draw to me seems the most likely outcome.
