That being said, the league positions haven't affected the bookies market here as West Ham have opened up as your 10/11 favourites whilst Nottingham Forest are 3/1 to win away this Sunday. I don’t think the bookies have this one quite right this week and I have some betting tips for this game, but we'll have a look at the teams first and then get into those at the end of the article!

West Ham started this season in really good form, they were playing good football, they were dangerous up front, but in the last few weeks the performances have just folded and they have now lost their last 3 games in the premier league. I do still however think they will be a dangerous team to write off here as they have plenty of quality to turn things around, but they will need to this week as Nottingham Forest are starting to warm to the premier league themselves. A big performance required for the Hammers.

Nottingham Forest had a slow start to the season but they are starting to find their feet and actually playing some much better football as the season has progressed. They have hardly been emphatic but they are creating chances and they are actually proving quite hard to score against too. I really like the style of play that has been input into the squad. It's a healthy place to be in and means they are likely to continue picking up points here and there as the season goes on. I think against a West Ham team that have lost their last three, Nottingham Forest will really fancy their own chances this Sunday.

West Ham do have a stronger record in the head to heads between these two teams but they are very hard to trust in current form. The latest meeting between these to ended u in a 4-0 win to West Ham, but I don’t think it is going to be that clear cut this weekend.

It won't be easy, as West Ham fight until the final second of the Whistle but I think considering Nottingham Forest have improved in their last few starts, they may warm to this as the fixture goes on and I think at 3/1 they are a great bet to win this week. It will be a massive 3 points for Nottingham Forest and I can see them edging this fixture come Sunday afternoon.
