World Cup Betting Tips Today: Predictions & Best Bets for June 21st

We've reached day 11 of the World Cup where we get to watch Spain try and win their first match against Saudi Arabia, while no doubt all eyes will be on Cabo Verde vs Uruguay. Elsewhere, Belgium and Iran meet looking to get their first win before Egypt and New Zealand clash in Vancouver.

Our World Cup tipster has been in hot form and has provided his best World Cup tips below.

Uruguay vs Cabo Verde

Uruguay will be hoping to do what Spain couldn't and beat Cabo Verde to remain competitive for top spot in Group H. Marcelo Bielsa attempted to play a 4-4-1-1 vs Saudi Arabia in the first half and it didn't work. However, reverting to a familiar 4-5-1 saw La Celeste dominate the second half and deservedly came away with a point. If Bielsa had started with his preferred formation, perhaps they would have come away with three points.

Cabo Verde were the talk of the town after their incredible 0-0 draw with Spain but will lightning strike twice? The underdogs defended resiliently but against a more powerful, direction nation, they may be undone.

There's quality all over the pitch for Uruguay and they would have studied Spain's match to make sure they come away with their first win of 2026. It may not be pretty at times, but Bielsa's side can bounce back.

Therefore, I'm sticking up Uruguay to win to nil 9/10 with BetMGM.

Spain vs Saudi Arabia

Spain quickly return to the pitch hoping to make up for that draw with Cabo Verde. They dominated the ball, shot count, corners - you name it - but it was one of those days for the favourites to win the World Cup - and they'll need to beat Saudi Arabia to keep that title.

There were two sides to Saudi. The opening 45 looked creative and willing to get at Uruguay, the second they were hanging on for a point in the final 10 minutes. Uruguay had 22 shots to Saudi's two in that second 45 minutes, and Spain might put up similar numbers.

The Asians will look to copy Cabo Verde's tactics but their defence can switch off, especially when under pressure for long periods, and this is where Spain can strike. They shouldn't have too many issues at the other end of the pitch, and so the favourites can seal their first win of the tournament.

My main tip is Spain to win, BTTS No and under 4 goals at 6/5 with BetMGM.

Belgium vs Iran

Belgium were unable to kickstart their World Cup campaign with a win but they face a winnable fixture in round two. Iran, who drew 2-2 with New Zealand, defended incredibly poorly against the nation expected to finish bottom of the group. A repeat of that will surely see the Red Devils strike and come away with all three points.

But it's not just that. Iran are having to fly in and out of the US in order to play their matches and the players have spoken about their unfair treatment compared to other nations. Less than two hours after their match with New Zealand, they were on a flight to Mexico and the constant strain on the pitch doesn't bode well when on it.

Belgium's superior quality - and the return of Romelu Lukaku - should be enough to score early and put Iran on the back foot. An early goal could see heads drop and the Red Devils can start to build up their goal difference.

My main tip is to back the Belgium to win and over 2.5 goals at 5/4 with BetMGM.

New Zealand vs Egypt

New Zealand surprised many with their two goals and point against Iran but it was Egypt's impressive performance against Belgium that was the real highlight in this group.

The Africans went toe-to-toe with Belgium, pressed high, got their reward for it inside the first half and battled bravely when Belgium threw everything at them in the latter stages of the match.

A similar performance, with a more attacking edge, should see the likes of Omar Marmoush and Mohammed Salah with several chances against this weak looking defence.

Iran gave Chris Wood too much room but Egypt will defend smarter than their group rivals.  Their price on its own looks fair and they can get their first win of the World Cup on the board.

Therefore, my main tip is Egypt to win at 3/5 with BetMGM.

Betting Tips

Uruguay vs Cabo Verde: Uruguay to win to nil at 9/10.

Spain vs Saudi Arabia: Spain to win, BTTS No and under 4 goals at 6/5.

Belgium vs Iran: Belgium to win and over 2.5 goals at 5/4.

New Zealand vs Egypt: Egypt to win at 3/5.
