World Cup Betting Tips Today: Predictions &Best Bets for June 24th

There's a hectic World Cup schedule on day 14 with six matches to look forward to as groups start to conclude. Brazil and Morocco are fighting for top spot in Group C, while Switzerland will need to beat Canada to finish first in theirs. Elsewhere, Bosnia will need to beat Qatar to qualify, while Czechia will look to join them when facing Mexico who are already through.

Our tipster Nathan Joyes has six bets for day 14 and has returned to provide his best World Cup tips below.

Scotland vs Brazil

Scotland aren't quite there yet compared to their gigantic opponents in Brazil, and one point may be required in order to seal their spot in the next round. It isn't going to be easy, especially as Brazil found some confidence not only in their second half against Morocco but also last time out vs Haiti.

With Brazil now through, Scotland might think they will take this easy. But with top spot yet to be sealed, Carlo Ancelotti will be keen for his side to continue improving at this World Cup as well as head into the knockout stage with two wins under his belt.

Scotland may huff and puff, but Brazil's overall quality should shine through.

Therefore, I'm sticking up Brazil to win and under 3.5 goals at 10/11 BetMGM.

Morocco vs Haiti

Morocco have the opportunity to finish top of Group C if they can rack up a sizeable scoreline against Haiti - a side that has already packed their bags and are set to leave the World Cup.

The Atlas Lions haven't been at their best in front of goal - proving wasteful at times vs both Brazil and Scotland - but this is by far the weakest opponent to date. Haiti were dreadful vs Brazil in the first half, allowing them to get in behind far too easily and a repeat performance might well see a repeat result.

Morocco are serious contenders to go far this World Cup - and they can boost their confidence in front of goal with a big win as they look to finish top.

My main tip is Morocco -2 Handicap at 16/11 with BetMGM.

Switzerland vs Canada

Switzerland must beat Canada if they are to finish top of the group with their rivals having a superior goal difference. It's the Swiss' own fault after drawing 1-1 with Qatar, but their 4-1 win against Bosnia was much more like it. A similar performance - even in Canada's back yard - could be enough to see them secure back-to-back wins.

Canada hammered Qatar 6-0. They were helped by the Asians finishing with nine men, but there's no doubt that Canada's attack wasn't on top of their game. However, that was their first ever win at a World Cup, and with the Swiss up and running, they may struggle against the original favourites to win the group.

At odds-against, Switzerland's price is too appealing who appear to be growing in confidence at the World Cup.

My main tip is to back the Switzerland to win at 23/20 with BetMGM.

Bosnia vs Qatar

Bosnia and Qatar both head into the final group match on one point - but both will know they are one win away from achieving history and qualifying for the knockout stage. It is, however, difficult to back Qatar, who are fortunate to have one point after the Swiss failed to fire in round one.

Their performance in round two was shambolic. And while Bosnia conceded four, they were also down to 10 men before everything unravelled late on. Qatar have shown how weak they can be, and Bosnia, aside from a rocky 30 minutes against Switzerland, have shown they are up for the fight.

Bosnia can strike early and record a huge win, while Qatar's defence - with suspensions - can bow out of the World Cup with another poor performance.

Therefore, my main tip is Bosnia HT/FT at 10/11 with BetMGM.

Czechia vs Mexico

Mexico have already qualified and won Group A, and so motivation may be lacking as they rotate to protect their key assets. That gives Czechia an opportunity who desperately need a win in order to advance to the knockout stage.

They couldn't hold on against South Africa having led, and their struggles in front of goal may just cost them. Czechia may have scored two in two matches, but this isn't enough to get through to the next round.

Mexico may well rest their star strikers, and while the co-hosts have advanced without conceding, they only scored two vs nine men and then a narrow win vs South Korea when their goalkeeper made a blunder.

Unders could be the smart play here - especially in the conditions.

My main tip is to back the Under 2.5 goals at 8/11 with BetMGM.

South Africa vs South Korea

There's plenty to play for in this one. South Africa know a win could see them squeeze through, while if South Korea fail to pick up three points, and Czechia beat Mexico, they will drop from 2nd to 3rd and their knockout stage draw could become a lot more difficult.

South Africa haven't shown their best selves this tournament. An opening round defeat to Mexico - which included two red cards - was followed with a 1-1 draw vs Czechia who have also disappointed.

South Korea looked sharp vs Czechia before just about falling short against the hosts. They have enough class to remain in second spot, and the Asians can bank a second win this World Cup.

Therefore, my main tip is South Korea to win at 7/10 with BetMGM.
