World Cup Betting Tips Today: Predictions & Best Bets for June 25th

There are six matches on day 15 at the World Cup where Ecuador will be looking to pull off a huge upset against the Germans. Ivory Coast will need to be cautious against Curacao, while Japan and the Netherlands are fighting for top spot in Group F. Will USA make it three wins on the bounce and will either Paraguay or Australia finish behind them in 2nd?

Our tipster Nathan Joyes has six bets lined up and has once again provided his best World Cup tips below.

Curacao vs Ivory Coast

After being thumped 7-1 vs Germany, Curacao won their first ever World Cup point with a hard earned draw vs Ecuador. It was unexpected, but they now head into round three with the chance to still make the knockout stage. Sadly, Ivory Coast await, who are keen to return to winning ways after falling short against Germany late on.

However, the Africans have seriously caught the eye this summer and they are more than capable of giving Curacao a good hiding. Ivory Coast have far more dangerous players in the final third compared to Ecuador, and having conceded seven in round one, Curacao's false hope could catch them out.

Therefore, I'm sticking up Ivory Coast -2.5 Handicap at 6/4 BetMGM.

Ecuador vs Germany

Ecuador must beat Germany if they are to qualify for the knockout stage. After losing to Ivory Coast, the South Americans failed to beat Curacao despite having 27 shots with 15 on target. Still without a goal, they must beat one of Europe's toughest sides - which is a tall order. However, the Germans are already through and they are expected to make several changes. It may not entirely weaken them with so much strength in reserve, but they may be slightly more disjointed.

Sebastian Beccacece's side have only conceded one goal in 180 minutes. Defensively, they are a strong unit and that might be the most sensible play here. Their double chance price looks appealing, but at some point they will have to go for it and that could open them up if the game is held late on. Instead, I'm going to continue with their theme of a lack of goals. Enner Valencia has struggled, and those in behind haven't been much better.

My main tip is under 2.5 goals at 4/5 with BetMGM.

Japan vs Sweden

Japan will only need to avoid defeat against Sweden to secure a top two finish in Group F and they have shown no signs that they are going to lose. A hard earned point saw them fight back against the Netherlands before they truly found their stride when hammering Tunisia 4-0.

Sweden, who also battered Tunisia, were soon put in their place by the Dutch who fired five past them. Although Sweden qualified for the World Cup through the play-offs, their World Cup qualifying campaign in itself was horrendous and one positive result against Tunisia doesn't change their defensive concerns.

Going forward, there's options, but those in behind have shown for quite some time they are not up to the level to compete against superior nations - and that's exactly what Japan are. The Asians can defend resiliently, score for fun with their fluid front line and they have enough quality to brush Sweden to one side in round three.

My main tip is to back the Japan to win at 10/11 with BetMGM.

Tunisia vs Netherlands

Tunisia just want this World Cup to end and return home after two defeats where they have conceded nine goals. The worst part? They haven't faced the best nation in this group yet who have yet to seal top spot - and are unlikely to rotate much or take this easy.

With Japan expected to beat Sweden, the Netherlands must match their result and goal difference could still play its part - expect the Dutch to go all out attack - especially in the first half as they chase the three points and look to be the third nation to stick at least four goals past Tunisia.

The Dutch have impressed in front of goal. Seven goals in two matches shows how dangerous they can be - and this game looks an easier one to call compared to others.

Therefore, my main tip is Netherlands to win and over 3.5 goals at 13/10 with BetMGM.

Turkiye vs USA

Turkiye are out of the World Cup. Two matches, two defeats, no goals - from 61 attempts. It's been one hell of a disappointing tournament. Now, they must trudge out onto the pitch and face the co-hosts who have won both matches. Mauricio Pochettino's side are through and that might see him make some changes ahead of their first knockout match.

It would be a huge shock for Turkiye to leave the World Cup without a goal - and when everyone is turning against them, now might be the time to back them as they head into round three with next to no pressure on them. With the US keeping one eye on their next fixture, Turkiye can be rewarded for their vast amount of attempts on goal and sign off with at least a positive before flying home.

Paraguay vs Australia

Both Paraguay and Australia are through to the next round but with 2nd spot up for grabs, this game might not end up as a draw as many are anticipating. Paraguay were shell shocked by the US in round one but rallied and defended resiliently against Turkiye after playing most of the match with 10 men.

Australia were also undone by the co-hosts, and even in their win vs Turkiye, the Socceroos didn't offer much in attack and relied on counter attacks. However, Paraguay are smarter than that and know how to defend - that USA result isn't a true reflection on their ability to stand firm as a unit. However, at the other end of the pitch, they have plenty of options. Julio Enciso, Mauricio and Ramon Sosa are all capable of scoring - and their draw no bet price appeals.
