World Cup Betting Tips Today: Predictions & Best Bets for June 27th

Publish Date: 26/06/2026
Fact checked by: Jordan Noble

There are just six more group matches to enjoy at the 2026 World Cup before we reach the knockout stage - and there's still plenty to decide. England will look to bounce back against Panama, Argentina are eyeing up three wins from three against Jordan, while there's a mouthwatering clash between Colombia and Portugal.

Our tipster Nathan Joyes has been in fine form and has six bets lined up. Read his World Cup tips below.

Panama vs England

England will look to bounce back from their disappointing 0-0 draw with Ghana and secure top spot in Group L. Panama are up next, who have lost both matches without scoring, and they won't have fond memories the last time they bumped into the Three Lions.

This shouldn't be a difficult task for Thomas Tuchel, but he will need to find a way for his players to break down low block sides. Yet there's evidence that he can do that from their flawless qualifying campaign, and he should be able to rally his troops in round three.

With Panama struggling in front of goal, England can record a second clean sheet while banking the three points to seal a knockout place as the group winners.

Therefore, I'm sticking up England to win, BTTS No and under 4.5 goals at 1/1  BetMGM.

Croatia vs Ghana

Croatia gave up too much against England and were punished. They recovered well to beat Panama, but they did it the hard way, and it wasn't a vintage performance. This ageing squad has shown flashes of ability in front of goal but there's still plenty of work for them to do if they are to have a successful tournament.

Ghana, however, arrive having yet to concede. They edged past Panama before defending resiliently vs England, holding out for a well earned point. They will look to employ the same tactics and frustrate Croatia - a point will be good enough to see them through in 2nd. The Black Stars will fight for their lives.

My main tip is Under 2.5 goals at 8/13 with BetMGM.

Algeria vs Austria

A draw would see both teams secure their spot in the next round and we've already witnessed both Australia and Paraguay play out a dull 0-0 which favoured both of them - and we might see it once more.

There is, of course, the battle for 2nd but Algeria haven't shown an awful lot so far at this World Cup to suggest they can beat Austria in round three.

Austria huffed and puffed vs Argentina - and more than held their own - and we could see a similar, solid defensive display here. If they put in a similar performance, there's no doubt they have the capability to shut out Algeria's attack.

My main tip is to back the BTTS No at 3/4 with BetMGM.

Jordan vs Argentina

Jordan are on their way home but will get to face the reigning champions on the world stage - a fitting sign off for making it to the World Cup for the first time in their history.

Whether or not those players will get to line up against Lionel Messi is yet to be answered. The 39-year-old may be rested after scoring five goals in his opening three matches, but that doesn't mean his nation will struggle without him.

There's still an abundance of attacking quality ready to step up. Lautaro Martinez is likely to lead the line, while both Thiago Almada and Julian Alvarez are ready and waiting for their chance in front of goal.

Once again, Argentina can win comfortably but and they won't need to get out of second gear to make it three wins from three.

Therefore, my main tip is Argentina and under 3.5 goals at / with BetMGM.

Colombia vs Portugal

One of the most exciting ties on the card in round three sees Colombia and Portugal go toe to toe. The South Americans have been well supported in their opening two matches and those travelling fans have been rewarded with six points and some fantastic attacking football along the way.

Colombia can attack in numbers - and fast. Portugal may struggle to live up to pace that Los Cafeteros can play at. Portugal bounced back well from their opening day draw but Uzbekistan have proven to provide very little threat at the World Cup and Colombia won't be worried.

Nestor Lorenzo's side just need a point to finish top of the group and they can frustrate their opponents and remain unbeaten with, once again, a home-like atmosphere behind them.

My main tip is to back the Colombia double chance at 4/5 with BetMGM.

DR Congo vs Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan have not done well at their first World Cup. A 3-1 defeat against Colombia was followed up with a 5-0 hammering against Portugal and before they know it, they are on their way out of the tournament.

DR Congo, however, still have every chance of progressing after claiming a point vs Ronaldo and co - and a win would see them secure a place in the knockout stage.

Uzbekistan's fragile defence - whether a three or a five - has been undone eight times already and it's hard to see them walking away with any points this World Cup. It's all come a bit too soon for them and not having the man who led them here in charge has impacted them heavily. Dr Congo can secure the win they need to squeeze through.

Therefore, my main tip is DR Congo to win at 8/11 with BetMGM.
