What happens if the Golden Boot is tied?
The only real logistical issue with understanding World Cup Golden Boot winners is if the position of top goalscorer is tied.
If that’s the case, then the award goes to whoever scored the fewest goals with penalties. So if still tied, the award is given to the person with most assists and finally, to who has played the least amount of time.
